The son of a sound technician, Andro was introduced to house and techno at an early age, and released his first track on a Hungarian label compilation at the age of 15. He quickly followed it up with a single and remix for Olav Basoski’s house-orientated Work White and Work Deluxe imprints, before moving towards the progressive scene and signing to Mechanism, aged just 17. A glut of remix offers followed, but soon enough, Andro returned to the studio to create his own music. ‘Allnighter’ found favour with DJs like Stefano Greppi (who played the track on John Digweed’s Kiss FM show), and Andro went on to release a steady stream of dark-edged progressive tracks across numerous labels, proving that he was as talented as he was prolific.
As his profile increased, so did his DJ schedule, and soon enough, Andro found himself playing regularly around Hungary. It was in 2004, however, that his major breakthrough arrived, in the form of his massive remix of ‘Brick in The Wall’ by Pink Floyd. Initially picked up by Satoshi Tomiie, the track was caned across the globe by a huge range of DJs, and remains a guaranteed floor filler today. Currently balancing a hectic DJ and production schedule with his college studies, Andro’s prodigious talent has plenty left to offer.
