Growing up in St. Petersburg, Serge was classically trained in the violin for two years and in the piano for eight years at the prestigious Music School of St. Petersburg, before he moved to the US and quickly became hooked on dance music through New York clubs like Palladium, Limelight and Twilo. He started DJing and quickly gained a solid reputation for his pulsating, hard-driving progressive sets. He soon tired of playing other people’s music and began producing his own sounds. Combining his classical background with cutting edge technology, he developed a complex, musical approach that has been recognized and praised by luminaries including Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, John Creamer, Stephan K, to name a few.

His debut on the world-clubbing scene came with the signing of ‘Hypnotized’ featuring Sapir for Ministry of Sound US. Serge also collaborated with such known artists such as Jan Johnston ,well known for his work with top producers like BT, Tiesto and Paul van Dyk. Their first single together, ‘Transparent’, was a huge success, and well known artists like Tilt and Lustral consequently employed Serge’s cutting edge sound to remix their new releases.Since then, Serge’s profile has steadily grown through his releases on Magnetic, Lost Language and Baroque. He also holds residencies in Avalon and Godskitchen New York, and frequently DJs at clubs like Crobar and Spirit.
